Bulgaria’s Richest Woman Made BGN 10.6 million last year

BGN 7.5 million taxable income is the highest declared annual income for last year, it became clear from the NAtional Revenue agency’s tax return forms. It was issued by a 36-year-old Sofia resident. The main part of the man’s his income is from the sale of shares in a company – for BGN 7.3 million. His other income of nearly BGN 200 thousand is salary.

As of March 19, 2018 32 people have declared incomes of more than BGN 1 million, the NRA announced.

Among the 32 wealthiest Bulgarians for last year there are only six women. The richest woman declared an income of BGN 4.6 million in her annual tax return form. She is also from Sofia, 58 years old, and ranks 5th in the overall ranking of the wealthiest Bulgarians who have already declared their income. The woman has earned money from the exercise of patent activities.
