Bulgaria’s Sunny Beach Named Cheapest Summer Resort In Europe

The Bulgarian Black Sea resort of Sunny Beach has been ranked as the best value-for-money summer holiday destination in Europe for the sixth year running.

The annual survey, conducted by Post Office UK’s 2019 Holiday Costs Barometer, looked at the average price of nine items including a bottle of suncream, a glass of wine and a three-course evening meal for two.

According to the ranking, prices at the Sunny Beach resort are at least a third lower than any of the other 15 destinations examined in the survey.
