Kaufland Opens First Hypermarket In Veliko Tarnovo

The Kaufland Bulgaria chain opened its first hypermarket in Veliko Tarnovo. With an investment of nearly 25 million leva, an assortment of over 17,000 products and a local team of more than 100 people this is the most modern store of the company all over the country.

The hypermarket has about 6,000 square meters of built-up area, of which just over 3,000 square meters of commercial space. The Kaufland Veliko Tarnovo car park includes over 250 parking spaces. The site is built entirely according to the new concept of the company for maximum user convenience and an even better working environment. The shop meets the latest standards for environmentally friendly and energy-efficient construction and is equipped with environmentally friendly systems.

Especially for its site in Veliko Tarnovo, Kaufland Bulgaria has also built a free electric charging station for electromobiles, a secure playground and a special walkway for visually impaired people to ensure their safe transportation and access to the hypermarket.

This is the first hypermarket of Kaufland Bulgaria with a fully glass entrance facade that allows even greater access to natural light.
