The Superbrands awards for the most prestigious brands on the Bulgarian market are presented for the eighth time in a row in Bulgaria. The organization holds competitions in over 80 countries around the world. The methodology of selection and evaluation of brands is universal for all countries. The award for the strongest brand is awarded on the basis of a jury evaluation, composed of authoritative specialists in the advertising industry and an independent study of the consumer segment of the Bulgarian market. Superbrands’ partner in conducting the national consumer voting is the leading Institute for Market Research GfK Bulgaria. In this way, the expert opinion of the leading specialists is compared and supplemented with the assessments of the users themselves.
For the fourth time in a row, Superbrands awards an honorary prize for its contribution to the promotion and promotion of the Bulgaria brand around the world. This year’s award is for the Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Ensemble, which won gold at the Tokyo Olympics for the first time. Fibank is a long-term sponsor of the Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation (BFHG) and successfully partners in a number of initiatives. One of them is the charity calendar of the bank, which this year is dedicated to the idea of sustainable development by supporting research for the preservation of Bulgarian varieties of fruits and vegetables. It is this daunting task that is part of the Sustainability Plan and one of the 17 Pillars of Sustainability of the United Nations, focused on geographical biodiversity, leading to a reduction in carbon footprint and damage to nature from the use of pesticides.
All proceeds from the sale of the calendar will be donated to the Bulgarian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation and the Agricultural Academy, Sofia, in order to support their activities. The calendar is available in all branches and offices of Fibank from December 6 and is priced at BGN 10. It is printed on 100% recycled paper without elemental chlorine, without heavy metals, and with a neutral pH in line with the bank’s long-term commitment to public responsible sustainable practices.
