The Bulgarian national television will be broadcast in the Republic of Northern Macedonia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced. The agreement was reached at a meeting between Bulgarian Ambassador to Skopje Angel Angelov, Special Representative of the Republic of Northern Macedonia for Bulgaria Vlado Buckovski, Director of the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services Zoran Traichevski and Director of Macedonian Telecom Nikola Lyushev.
The decision is a consequence of the active dialogue between the Management Board of the Bulgarian Public Television and their colleagues from the Macedonian Radio and Television (MRT).
The BNT4 program will be distributed on the Max TV platform of the Macedonian Telecom operator. The contract is to be signed in early March 2021. The upcoming inclusion of TV “Europe”, TV “Wness” and TV “Tourism” on the platform “Max TV” was also discussed at the meeting.
