The Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) has switched to displaying financial instrument prices and market turnover data exclusively in euros, following the end of the transitional period that allowed prices to be shown in both Bulgarian levs and euros.
The change took effect on August 9 and covers all financial instruments admitted to trading on the BSE, as well as turnover information for the exchange’s markets.
The exchange said the transition to euro-only data will be implemented progressively across its other information sources and market-data distribution channels. Some of these changes require technical coordination with exchange members, market-data providers and other partners.
The move follows the expiry of the dual-price display period established under Bulgaria’s Introduction of the Euro in the Republic of Bulgaria Act.
